Medical Society of Sedgwick County : Institutional Review Board application and special study for citywide enrollment and tracking system for uninsured patients accessing Project Access safety net system. 2001-2002. National Catholic AIDS Network: Designed and managed the development of a Windows database supporting a national HIV/AIDS resource directory for 500+ service providers. Made run-time diskette version available for Apple and IBM-compatible PC’s. 1995-1999. Catholic Health Association, St. Louis MO: Designed, installed, and upgraded a 90-node local area network (LAN) at St. Louis headquarters and 10-node LAN in Washington DC office. Designed and coordinated the development of an enterprise-wide, client/server information system: CHA's Strategic Information System. Effort involved integrating all membership databases. Created PC/LAN training programs and two workgroups. Produced Overview of Management Information Systems at the Catholic Health Association for systems audit. 1993-1995. Developed multiple research databases for CHA staff. Comparative, time series data included hospital finances, utilization, staffing, corporate ties, local Census statistics, and links to survey data. A Congressional advocacy database and directory was created to support Washington DC office lobbying efforts. Voluntary Hospitals of America, Irving TX: Directed deployment, marketing, and application development for the Clinical/Financial Information System (C/FIS) to 110 hospitals. Modeled JCAHO indicators and other performance measures. 1988. Rotan Mosle, Inc. (Affiliate of Paine Webber, Inc.): Conducted enterprise wide assessment of information systems during conversion to new computer system. Produced Management Information Systems Department Two-Year Plan. 1982. Also, developed personal computer applications and conducted computer demonstrations for branch managers and account executives participating in Treasurer’s money management program.
