•  Small Business Health Insurance Coverage Expansion for Lower Income Workers via the Kansas Business Health Partnership by Health Partners Benefits Association, Topeka KS . Funded for six months at $78,000.

•  Northeast Wyandotte County Community-Based Obesity and Prediabetes Screening, Nutrition Awareness, and Weight Loss Program for Children by Northeast Coalition, Kansas City KS .

 

Reducing Social Isolation Among Rural Elderly in Riley and Surrounding Counties. Proposal developed by CHC's Eldercare Committee, February 2002. Requested $50,000.

 

Proposal to Design and Implement a Prevention and Health Education Program for Medicaid Populations. Proposal to Kansas Medicaid/CMS by Kansas University School of Medicine, March 2002. Funded $750,000 for three years.

Letter of Intent and Implementation Grant proposal by the Medical Society of Sedgwick County to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for Communities in Charge initiative.
